COURT USAGE
a. Tennis and Pickleball courts are for the enjoyment of players of all ages and all levels of play.
b. Tennis court hours are between 7:00 am. and 11:00 pm. Pickleball court hours are between 8:00 am. and 10:00 pm. Courts are booked through the online booking system.
c. Prime time hours are Monday - Thursday, 6:00 pm. - 8:00 pm.
d. Courts can be booked four (4) days in advance.
e. Courts can be booked in time slots of 30 minutes. For booking doubles play, a maximum of 2 hours can be reserved; for booking singles play, a maximum of 1 hour can be reserved in prime time, and 1.5 hours in non prime-time.
f. To maximize court availability for all members, courts should be booked, whenever possible, without leaving a half hour gap between bookings.
g. If a court is not available during a desired timeframe members may add their name to the wait list for that time in the booking system. If any court becomes available for that time, the waitlisted member(s) will receive an email and have the opportunity to book.
h. Members may have a maximum of four (4) active tennis and four (4) active pickleball court bookings at any given time; maximum one active (1) tennis and one (1) active pickleball court booking per day. (“Active” means future scheduled. If a court booking time is completed, the member may book another court on the same day).
i. Unneeded courts should be cancelled at the earliest possible opportunity. Repeated no-shows could result in the loss of booking privileges.
COURT ETIQUETTE
a. Efforts to keep the noise level down both on and off court is appreciated. Loud conversations can be distracting to players.
b. Players should be considerate of a game in progress. When moving to or from the courts to play, wait until play has stopped and then walk around the playing area to get to the next court.
c. If a ball rolls onto another occupied court, do not chase after it. If there is a perceived safety concern that someone may trip on the ball, alert the player on that court. Otherwise, wait for play on that court to stop and kindly ask for your ball to be returned.
d. Return stray balls to the rear of another court if play is in progress on that court.
CONDUCT
a. Courtesy and adherence to court etiquette are expected at all times.
b. Be respectful towards all players, staff, and volunteers. Physical or verbal abuse or harassment will not be tolerated. Abuse of any club equipment or the club facilities will not be tolerated.
c. Members should assist in keeping the clubhouse and grounds neat and clean. Waste should be disposed of in garbage or recycling bins.
d. To avoid damage to courts food and beverages in open containers are not permitted on the courts.
e. Smoking, vaping or alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises.
f. Pets (excluding service pets) are not permitted within fenced area, in clubhouse or on the balcony.
ATTIRE
a. Appropriate tennis and pickleball attire must be worn at all times including non-marking athletic shoes.
GUESTS
a. Members may book a court with guests during non-prime hours.
b. Guests must be registered by first and last name in the booking system.
c. There is a non-refundable guest fee of $15 / guest.
d. Guests must be accompanied by a club member.
e. Guests must adhere to all MTC rules and regulations.
f. Guests are not permitted to attend member events/programs.
